ABOUT CINDY

Cindy lives with her husband, Ralph Barker, and daughter Megan in Oxford, Ohio. Together, they have six children and three grandchildren. Megan receives day hab services by the Board of Developmental Disabilities.

Ralph operates his business, Barker Ornaments, from the couples' 200 year old farmhouse, which has been in his family for six generations. Every Christmas season, the first floor of their farmhouse is turned into a gift shop for the annual sale of Barker’s handmade Christmas ornaments.

Cindy comes by her interests in business and public service honestly; her parents operated the historic Symmes Tavern in Fairfield, Ohio where her step-father, Hans Kuehlthau, retired as the Fairfield Municipal Clerk of Courts.

She attended Miami University, Southwestern College of Business, has earned thirteen annual education awards presented by the Ohio Clerk of Courts Association, and has significant continuing education in the area of computer systems implementation.
